Amy Rowland is a methane and circular economy specialist with over five years of experience in providing analytical, policy, and technical support at the intersection of climate and materials management. She supports efforts to mitigate methane from the waste and agricultural sectors and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from resource extraction and processing by promoting circular solutions for clients, including the U.S. EPA, USAID, the National Park Service (NPS), and World Wildlife Fund (WWF). She helped develop the WWF’s ReSource Footprint tracker, which is now the reporting mechanism used by ReSource Plastic and U.S. Plastics Pact members to understand their plastic footprint and track progress on commitments. She currently supports EPA and Global Methane Initiative efforts to build capacity for methane mitigation projects in developing countries. She holds a dual master's in environmental science and public affairs from Indiana University.
